Special Message

To build a better world....

On Sunday, November 18, 2018 Baraboo Presbyterian Church addressed the topic of how to respond to hate in an honest, hopeful, and faithful way. Kerri Parker from the Wisconsin Council of Churches was present to help us learn about this topic. No matter what you are feeling, or if you consider yourself interested in church or not, this is a time to come together to learn how to build a better community. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by the world we live in, but here we have the chance to affect real local change, to enter into systems and lives with love and justice, and to help not only those who are struggling now, but those who will come afterwards to have a safer place, a more just community, and a more hopeful future.

Verse of the Day

“And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven”
